Los Angeles Lakers second-year guard Bronny James has been playing for the team, stating it is a "dream come true" for him to achieve this milestone in his career. This comes after he was criticized for not being selected for the second round of the 2024 NBA draft after a poor performance at USC. Despite not being part of the rotation every game for the Lakers, head coach JJ Redick has felt comfortable in using him in games that aren't complete blowouts. So far this season, James has played in 34 games and is averaging 2.1 points and 1.1 assists in 7.1 minutes per game.
