Paramount has secured a deal with Studio Canal for North American and numerous foreign territories on the Garth Davis directed, Florence Pugh starring fantasy drama The Midnight Library. The deal was subject to a fierce bidding war with Focus Features and Sony. This marks the first acquisition for Lia Buman's team since she joined Paramount from Tango.
