The increasing number of children in Georgia is on the rise due to the elimination of firearm regulations. In 2020, it will be the No. 1 cause of death among children aged between 1 and 17, accounting for 129 deaths. The number of gun deaths in the state increased by 24% between 2015 and 2024, with gun suicides increasing by 20% and homicides increasing by 29%. The state of the situation is currently unclear.
