On Thursday, League One Volleyball (LOVB) announced that Synergy Sports Capital, a $150 million private equity fund led by former NFL players Terrence C. Murphy Sr. and Reggie Bush, has acquired the rights of LOVB Salt Lake, a professional women's volleyball league. The team currently features two-time Olympic medalists Jordyn Poulter, Haleigh Washington, and Ifenna Cos-Okpalla, who helped the Aggies win their first national title in program history in December. The acquisition comes as part of the ownership group aiming to build the next great professional league in America.
