M4 driver tested positive for cannabis and cocaine

Kamran Ahmed, a 43-year-old man from Chatsworth Road in Fishponds, Bristol, has been disqualified from driving after being caught drug-driving on the M4 near Swindon. Police stopped his Ford Transit van after it appeared he was driving erratically and smelling cannabis. A drugs wipe test revealed the presence of cocaine and cannabis in the vehicle was positive. He was also ordered to perform 225 hours of unpaid work and pay £650 of the Crown Prosecution Service's costs and a £114 surcharge.
