82 Idaho students named U.S. Presidential Scholars candidates

The U.S. Department of Education's Presidential Scholars Program will select up to 161 students nationwide. The winners are chosen by the state superintendent for their excellence in academics, arts, or career-related activities. The program will also award one male and one female representatives from each other at the time of the year.
