The escalating conflict between the United States, Israel, and Iran has resulted in a surge in calls from local mental health provider LSF Health Systems. The company provides access to "evidence-based behavioral health care services for people facing poverty" and has seen an increase in calls since the conflict began. Concerns are also being raised about safety for families with loved ones overseas and military communities near local bases. LFS Health Systems CEO, Christine Cauffield, suggested limiting news checks to specific times of day and engaging outside activities to reduce anxiety. She also advised people not to isolate and to talk about worries.
