Lil Tjay, known for his controversial statements regarding the shooting of Offset, has released a new album, They Just Ain’t You, due to his own imprint TrenchKid Records/ADA. The album is designed to be a fully independent project without major label infrastructure behind it. The lead single, "Life On Edge," was released today and has been heavily influenced by his upbringing in the Bronx. Despite a $10,000 casino debt and months of public beef, Lil Tjay was arrested the night before on disorderly conduct charges related to Offset's shooting outside the Seminole Hard Rock Hotel & Casino in Hollywood, Florida. He was never named as the triggerman, but was out on bond the next day. The new album is set to be released on May 1 via his own record label Trench Kid Records. He plans to keep his foot on the gas and not break any more than once.
