A large area of high pressure is expected to bring warmer temperatures to the Jacksonville area over the weekend, with temperatures expected to remain in the 70s and 80s. However, there is no guarantee of rain as areas along the coast may see spotty showers due to an onshore wind. An increase in humidity is also expected later in the week. The area of "extremely" drought continues to expand each week.
