Ex-PC bailiff murder accused appears at court

Jeff Blair, a former police officer, was seriously injured on a job in Shildon, County Durham on 10 March and died later in hospital. Robert Davies, a 49-year-old man, is accused of murdering him. He appeared via video link at Teesside Crown Court and is scheduled to appear at Leeds Crown Court on 13 April.
