New polling by Just Capital, a nonprofit that tracks what the American public expects from business, has revealed that 66% of Americans expect AI to be a net positive for society within the next five years, but there are concerns about job losses across industries. The survey also revealed that 90% of 90% corporate leaders and 94% of investors are optimistic about AI’s societal impact. However, about a third of Americans surveyed expect large-scale job losses over the next two to three years, while only 13% of corporate leaders believe AI will result in fewer entry-level positions and higher skill requirements for those who stay employed.
