YouTube Premium Raises Prices For First Time Since 2023

YouTube is increasing its subscription prices for its YouTube Premium plans for the first time in three years. The core YouTube Premium plan will increase by $2 per month to $15.99, while the Music and Premium Lite plans are increasing by $1 per month. The family plan is also increasing to $26.99 per month, allowing for up to six people in the same household to have access. The move is part of a wider effort to maintain the features members value most, ad-free videos, background play, and a large library of 300M+ tracks on YouTube Music. The company has reportedly passed over 125 million subscribers.
