MBTA shows love to drivers on ‘Driver Appreciation Day’

The Boston Transportation Department (R) is celebrating "Driver Appreciation Day" with a campaign to encourage drivers to tell their stories. The day is also being commemorated by the first "five penny coaches" bus lines established in 1662. The T has stated that just thanking the driver for their service will make a difference.
