Italy bourse workers strike for better terms amid Euronext tensions

Italian stock exchange workers are set to strike for better working conditions at the Milan Bourse, a key infrastructure in Italy's financial system. The strike, which will begin at around midday (10:00 GMT), is not expected to disrupt transactions on the automated bourse. The workers are protesting against plans by Euronext to reduce the number of days staff can work from home from eight to four per month. They also argue that the acquisition of the company has led to a centralization of decision-making in Paris.
