The shocking footage was included in a teaser trailer for the third and final season of "Euphoria." Some fans criticized the scene and questioned why Sweeney agreed to participate in such a shocking storyline. However, others defended Sweeney and the controversial scene, arguing that the show has featured salacious scenes since its premiere in June 2019. Sweeney's reps did not immediately respond to Page Six's request for comment.
