The Toronto Regional Real Estate Board reported that home sales in the Greater Toronto Area rose for the first time in six months in March, rising 1.4% to 4,546 units, marking the first increase since September. The board's home price index was down 0.6% month-over-month, making it the 10th consecutive month of declines. The increase suggests that more homebuyers are seeking out of the improved affordability of the housing market.
