Barbie Ferreira and Charli xcx have had a long friendship and shared a few scenes in the new horror movie Faces of Death. The film, which was shot in 2023, marks Ferreir's first-ever film role and was directed by Daniel Goldhaber, who also co-wrote the film with Isa Mazzei. The actress leads the film as Margot and shares several scenes with Charli, playing the morbidly curious Gabby. The pair have had an off-screen friendship for years. The movie was shot just before the 2024 release of Charli's album, Brat, catapulted her to superstardom.
