German cartel office approves Rheinmetall subsidiary, OHB satellite joint venture

The German cartel office has approved Rheinmetall Digital (RHMG.DE) and German satellite manufacturer, OHB (ISP), to establish a joint venture to handle a future procurement contract from the German armed forces. The Rheindeall subsidiary will be responsible for user and network segments, while the ISP will cover the space and ground segments of the satellites. There are no competition concerns regarding the joint venture.
