Wet & stormy weekend weather across Kansas

The weather forecast for the weekend is ominous as temperatures rise from the 40s and 50s to the middle 70s, with less wind, less humidity, and lots of sunshine. Severe storms are expected to occur over western Kansas after 3 p.m. and move east during the evening. If the weather clears, another round of strong to severe storms is expected. The best chance of these storms will be across northern and eastern Kansas. The outlook for the rest of the week is uncertain.
