A motorcyclist killed in a collision involving a motorcycle and a pickup truck has been identified as 48-year-old Michael DeRivera. The accident occurred on April 7 near the intersection of I-25 and Woodmen Road. DeRiveras sustained severe injuries and was taken to the hospital, where he later died from his injuries. The driver of the pickup truck received minor injuries and the investigation is ongoing. This is the 12th traffic fatality in Colorado Springs in 2026.
