Keansburg, New Jersey, cancelled its St. Patrick's Day Parade due to a suspicious device found on the parade route. The device was discovered by someone participating in the parade and was immediately contacted by Keansburg Police. The FBI took custody of the package and is currently assessing it. The decision to cancel the parade was made for safety reasons, not a threat of a bomb, nor were any other incidents reported. It is unclear if there will be a make-up date for the 2026 Keansborg.
