Bison Season Ends in WBIT, But Historic Year Leaves Lasting Mark

The North Dakota State Bison women’s basketball team ended their season with a record-breaking 29-5 overall record, the highest total since the 1995-96 season, reaching postseason play for the fourth consecutive year. Despite a 34-point lead in the first half, Columbia Lions defeated North Dakota state 86-57 in the Women’�s Basketball Invitation Tournament. Despite the loss, head coach Jory Collins praised the team's growth and dedication. The team is expected to return next year, with much of the roster expected to have championship-level games and another postseason appearance.
