Families involved with the Lexington United Soccer Club have lost $500,000 after a planned trip for their children to the UK was cancelled without warning. The trip, organised by GoPlay, would have allowed players to compete against teams overseas. About 50 families had already made multiple payments and have yet to receive their money back. The Massachusetts Attorney General’s Office has received at least 25 complaints about the company.
