The Michelin Pilot Sport 4 SUV is often considered an all-rounder summer tire, but is not necessarily your best choice. In a test conducted by German publication Auto Bild Allrad, nine different SUV tires were put through their paces under various conditions. The results showed that four tires outperformed the Michelin pilot Sport 4 SUVs, with the Vredestein Ultrac Pro performing well in wet weather and off-road handling on gravel. The Goodyear Eagle F1 Asymmetric 6 has been available in the US and Canada since May 2025 and is most likely to be fitted to the highest performance versions of a given SUV. It is currently available in over 100 different sizes and comes with a 30,000-mile treadlife limited warranty.
