Concerts in the Park returns, giving downtown Sacramento businesses an early summer boost

The 33rd annual Concerts in the Park series, which began on May 1, will offer nine weeks of free Friday night performances featuring national touring acts and local artists. The event is intended to bring together the community and showcase the city's growing music scene. Local businesses also report a significant increase in foot traffic following the event. The series generated nearly 50,000 additional visits to downtown last year, with nearly 40% of these visits to local businesses. The 2026 season will also feature themed nights.
