The Board of Education President and Superintendent of Schools, Patrick Todd and Mary McLoughlin, expressed concern over the situation, which they described as "upsetting and concerning" for many families. The district has stated that there are legal limits on what it can disclose due to the ongoing law enforcement investigation and that it is cooperating with law enforcement and is working to strengthen education around digital safety and the risks associated with artificial intelligence and social media.
