The U.S. Embassy in Lebanon has issued an advisory urging Americans to leave the country as fighting continues between Israel and Hezbollah, following the U.K. and Israel launched strikes on Iran. The embassy stated that while commercial flights are still available, the security situation may change at any time. The Israeli Defense Forces also stated that it was targeting Hezbollah targets across Lebanon in response to projectile fire. The U.N. Embassy has stated it has no ability to assist Americans in Lebanon and is urging citizens in southern Lebanon, near the borders with Syria, in refugee settlements and in the Dahi.
