10-year Treasury yields edge higher as investors weigh renewed Iran war uncertainty

The 10-year Treasury yield has risen by over 3 basis points due to increased volatility in oil markets and ongoing Middle East tensions. The 30-year yield also added by over 2 basis points to 4.937%, while the 20-year yielded by about 3.9%. This comes after U.S. President Donald Trump announced that Washington and Tehran had had productive discussions about ending hostilities. However, the rebound in crude prices suggests uncertainty over easing tensions.
