Bam Adebayo scored 83 points in a game against the Washington Wizards, breaking a record for the Miami Heat and NBA records. This makes him the second-most points scored in an NBA game, passing late Basketball Hall of Famer Kobe Bryant's 81 points in 2006. Wilt Chamberlain had the highest single game total with a 100-point game in 1962 against the New York Knicks. Other notable scoring nights include Waverch Chamberlain's 78-points game in a 151-147 loss to the Lakers. Adebayeo also made 36 free throws on 43 attempts, a record set by Adrian Dantley in 1984. Other top scoring nights in NBA history include Lillard's 71 points in an effort to win the title, while Mitchell scored 71 in a win for the Cleveland Cavaliers.
