Demonstrations in support of and against the U.S. strikes on Iran have taken place across the country, including in Indianapolis. On Monument Circle, dozens of protesters gathered with signs reading "Stop the War on Iran" and "Hands off Iran". However, Iranian-Americans, who live in Iran, protested, demanding human rights and freedom for the Iranian people. Hassan Mikankhah supports the strikes, stating they are necessary for regime change and don't believe in meddling in other countries' affairs. Anti-war protesters have also protested at least twice since the US and Israel attacked Iran.
