Long Beach Middle Schoolers Recognized For Innovative “SeroScanner” Project

Four sixth graders from Long Beach Middle School have been named regional champions in the Toshiba/NSTA ExploraVision competition, a STEM contest that takes thousands of entries from across the country. The students created a customizable brain-monitoring bracelet, the "SeroScanner," which can adjust chemicals if they fall out of balance. The team has advanced to the national round of the competition, where they could be crowned national champions.
