Amy Allen Wins Pop Music Songwriter of the Year at 2026 ASCAP Pop Music Awards

Amy Allen won ASCAP pop songwriter of the year at the 2026 ASCAP Pop Music Awards in Los Angeles. Allen co-wrote five of ASCAP's most-performed songs of the past year, including "APT.” (ROSÉ & Bruno Mars), “High Road” and “Manchild” Both these songs were both nominated for song of the Year at the Grammys. “Die with a Smile” was named pop music song of of year. Sony Music Publishing was named publisher of the award. Singer/songwriter James Fauntleroy won in that category in 2018 for cowriting an earlier Mars smash, “That’s What I Like”
