Porter Moser returning to Oklahoma with NIL upgrade for players

Oklahoma men's basketball coach Porter Moser will return for the 2026-27 season, according to Athletic Director Roger Denny. His return will come with additional investments to the program, including an upgrade in NIL money available for players. Denny emphasized the need for Oklahoma's resources to match the program's expectations and emphasized the importance of matching resources to the team's performance. Moser has been a Division I college head coach for 22 seasons, including stops at Little Rock, Illinois State, and Loyola-Chicago. The Sooners reached the NCAA tournament last year and are currently on the verge of this year's tournament.
