Longtime resident takes over as new Parma Area Chamber of Commerce executive director

Dorothea "Dottie" Wenger has been named the new executive director of the Parma Area Chamber of Commerce. Wenger, a 62-year-old resident of the area, has been training for the role and has previously worked in education for 32 years. She also served as a community liaison for a Parma Heights business. Looking ahead, Wenger plans to bring back many of the chamber's activities, including partnering with We Are Parma Proud and Young Professionals of Parma.
