The meeting was so large that the city capped attendance at 80 residents. The proposed development, which would include a 300-thousand-square-foot data center campus tied to an unnamed Fortune 100 company, could require significant power and cooling infrastructure from Conway Corp. Many residents voiced concerns about transparency, infrastructure demands, and tax incentives tied to the project. A proposed memorandum of understanding would give the undisclosed company a 65% tax break over 30 years, in exchange for significant investment and roughly 50 jobs.
