The 2026 Subaru Trailseeker, the third U.S.-market EV produced by the company, is the first EV that actually feels like a Subaru. The Trailseazer, which follows the trail of the Outback, has wagon-like styling and utility, while it does have a Toyota twin, the bZ Woodland. It is designed to appeal to loyal Subaru customers and is less ugly than the current-generation Outback. The standard dual-motor all-wheel drive powertrain produces 375 horsepower, making it the most powerful Subaru production model to date. It also features a full-width tailgate light bar with "Subaru" lettering, a styling feature from Outbacks of the early 2000s. The vehicle also has 8.5 inches of ground clearance and off-road driving aids.
