ReelShort and Endemol Shine Brasil have partnered to produce the Brazilian adaptation of one of the microdrama platform's biggest global hits, “Married at First Sight.” Locally titled “De Repente Casados” will premiere on ReelShort on April 18. The series follows a woman who is betrayed by her boyfriend and seeks a marriage of convenience. The Brazilian version of the show is led by Laryssa Ayres and Ricardo Vianna, actors familiar with the vertical format, and features a special appearance by veteran actor Adriano Garib. Endmol Shine Brazil is contributing to the project with its expertise in localising content, audiovisual production, and experience in adapting international formats for Brazilian audiences.
