UK weather: Wintry weather returns to UK as wind, snow and rain forecast

The UK is expected to see a return to cold weather, with temperatures reaching the single digits and potential snowfall across central and north-west Scotland. There are warnings for snow in place for 2 to 5cm of snow expected, and potentially up to 10cm in places above 350 metres. The weather will also be disrupted by wind and rain.
