Vernon Hills senior Ryley Bautista, a senior at Vernon Hills, has been a standout performer in multiple sports, including softball, bowling, and competitive cheerleading. Her extensive varsity experience has given her unique perspective, giving her a sense of expectations and knowledge about the success of varsity sports. She also believes that her experience in bowling, cheerleading, and sideline cheerleading have helped her become a good teammate. Despite a slow start to the season, she is off to a better start and feels less pressure this year than last year due to her strong performance. Bautistas is also a leader on the team and a self-starter who gets practice going with warmup drills.
