Moto Pizza has expanded its reach in Seattle's Pioneer Square neighborhood, with a new location set to open in California later this year. The company's founder, Lee Kindell, described the expansion as a "dream come true" for him and said he has kept standards high while expanding. The pizzas are designed to be a mix of Detroit, New York, Roman, and Filipino flavors. Kindell competed at the International Pizza Challenge last month and won first place in the Detroit-style pan pizza subdivision. He plans to have more than a dozen Moto locations open by the end of the year.
