Former CNN technology correspondent and CBS News' 60 Minutes streaming spinoff, Laurie Segall, is launching a new media company called Mostly Human, which will produce original podcasts and programming, and work with creators to tell stories about how technology is changing our world. The company's first product is a new podcast, in partnership with iHeartMedia, with OpenAI CEO Sam Altman set to be the guest. Segall and co-founder Marc Weinhouse are also working on several other projects, including a true crime concept centered around deepfakes. They aim to bridge the two worlds of tech and culture, with Segall emphasizing the need for cultural literacy around AI.
