Kentucky's aerospace industry is playing a significant role in the state's growing economy, contributing to growth across multiple key industries including manufacturing, automotive, distribution and logistics. The aerospace market is helping Kentucky's economy reach new heights, accounting for nearly $23 billion in products shipped out of the United States in 2025, a nearly 22.2% increase over the previous year. The industry's growth has also been significant in Kentucky's growing role in international trade, with a record-setting year for exports largely supported by aerospace products and parts. Currently, there are over 500 aerospace-related facilities throughout the state employing over 46,000 Kentuckians. Since 2020, there have been 53 aerospace projects in Kentucky, representing over $738 million in investment and over 2,000 new jobs.
