Kangaroo escaped from Sunshine Farm in Necedah, Wisconsin, last week, leading owners on a three-day chase. The escape was caused by stray dogs who rushed into the enclosure and spooked the 16-month-old kangaroo. The chase led to sleepless nights and a frantic search for the animal, which kept his pursuers guessing for three days. Eventually, Chesney was found under a tree in a wooded area and reunited with his keeper, Debbie Marland, who was putting on 37,000 steps per day looking for him. The kangaro is now a celebrity due to his exploits and a children's book about his adventures is being written by a Sunshine Farm fan.
