The Rockies defeated the Dodgers 4-3 at Coors Field, with the help of their bullpen who pitched 3 1/3 scoreless innings. Troy Johnston and Troy Johnston were among the key hits, but the victory was largely attributed to the relievers. The game was marked by drama for an announced sellout crowd of 47,925. The Rockies took a 2-3 lead with a two-run sixth inning, finally coming through with clutch hits. Right-hander Ryan Feltner overcame a shaky start to give the team a win, allowing three runs (two earned) on five hits, including two solo homers.
