Jacquelyn Martin, owner of Plot Twist Books in Lockport, Illinois, has opened a bookstore that offers community space, used books, and community events. The independent bookstore, which opened in February, plans to collaborate with local authors and allow other book clubs and community groups to use the space for free. The store also sells pre-bottled cold brew and coffee from another Lockport business. It is $1.50 for any used book, and the business also accepts book donations for used books.
