Indonesia court jails former officials at education ministry over Google laptop procurement

An Indonesian court has sentenced two former officials to up to 4-1/2 years in prison for corruption over the improper procurement of Chromebook laptops. The case involves Indonesia's former education minister, Nadiem Makarim, who is currently standing trial for allegedly enriching himself from the procurement of the devices. The sentences were handed down to the former director of primary education and the former junior high school director respectively.
