The Better Business Bureau (Beb) has revealed that complaints about exchanges and refunds have surged, making it among the most common issue consumers report with businesses. One in four complaints involved consumers not being able to get their money back after something went wrong with a business. The BBB also noted that in Washington, thousands of residents have filed complaints with the BBB, about one in six were due to not receiving fair compensation due to the company's failure to meet expectations. The organization recommends understanding a company's refund policy before buying and identifying companies as trustworthy.
