‘Don’t forget about Ukraine’, says Essex charity

Essex charity, Hope and Aid Direct, has been sending over 100 trucks of aid to Ukraine since 2022, transporting over 620 tonnes of goods from the Balkans, Gaza, and Calais. However, donations have decreased due to the cost-of-living crisis. The charity is now looking for a permanent home for its operations, facing paying between £15,000 and £20,000 in rent for warehouse space.
