Several sickly bald eagles were rescued in Warren County, New Jersey, over the past month, leading to an ongoing investigation. The birds were found grounded and unable to fly in two separate incidents. The Raptor Trust, a wildlife rehabilitation facility in Millington, conducted full toxicology tests and sent samples to state and federal wildlife agencies for analysis. The New Jersey Department of Environmental Protection declined to comment on the situation.
