Pope responds after repeated attacks by Trump over war criticism: 'I have no fear'

President Donald Trump has criticised several prominent critics of the U.S.-Israeli military actions in and around Iran, including long-time supporters Tucker Carlson, Megyn Kelly, and Alex Jones. In another post on Truth Social, Trump accused Pope Leo XIV, the spiritual father of over 1.4 billion Catholics worldwide, of being "weak on Crime, and terrible for Foreign Policy". He also stated that he did not like a pope who said it's OK to have a nuclear weapon and said crime was OK in our cities. Pope Leo responded by stating that he had no fear and did not mind his criticism. He also stressed that his role as a peacemaker was not a political stance.
